The Riverside County Wine Country Community Plan website is produced by Third District Supervisor, Jeff Stone as a vehicle to keep the public informed regarding the dynamic process and documents for the development of the community plan. The plan is proposed as a result of the recognized impacts of growth in the Temecula Valley Southern California Wine Country and will address various issues related to infrastructure, including but not limited to water, sewer, circulation and the environment. Zoning standards are being revised specifically for the uniqueness of the development of wineries, special event facilities and hotel/resort accommodations in the Southern California Wine Country. Additionally, equestrian and residential standards are being reviewed and updated to reflect the rural residential and equestrian land uses that are so much a part of the fabric of our Wine Country. Irrespective of the activity or use quality of life is of utmost importance for all stakeholders.
We seek to partner with all stake holders in growing of Wine Country so that our vision is fully realized and benefits all. The County has a team of staff members committed and dedicated to the development of the community plan. We invite you to share your thoughts or concerns regarding any aspect of the community plan by going to the “contact us” page and contacting one of the team members.
